Johnathan has been involved with horses since he was three years old. He began lessons and bought his first pony, which he then started to compete aged six.
Two years later, his talent was spotted by Pammy Hutton of Talland School of Equitation, where he trained, achieving his BHS AI certificate at 17. He then went on to become one of the youngest BS approved coaches in the UK.
Johnathan continued to train with some of the best trainers in the country, including Tim Stockdale, Dermot Lennon, Dick Stillwell, Gerry Sinnott and Rowland Fernyhough.
Johnathan has achieved an outstanding competition record on his own and privately-owned horses, acheiving fantastic results both nationally and internationally.
Highlights of his career have included representing England on three occasions, jumping at Horse Of The Year Show at Wembley, Olympia and Hickstead, as well as being selected to jump abroad at venues such as Auvers and Bonheidon and winning the Young Sports Horse class at the Scope Festival Of Showjumping.
